Welcome to Modern Tours & Travels (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).
By booking a tour, trip, or related service (“Service”) with us, you (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”) agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
Please read these terms carefully before making a booking.
1. Bookings & Payments
- A booking is confirmed only after receiving the required deposit/payment as communicated during the reservation process.
- Full payment must be made by the due date specified. Failure to pay may result in cancellation without refund.
- All prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) and are subject to change before final confirmation.
2. Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Customer Cancellation:
Cancellations made 15 days before the departure date will receive an 80% refund.
Cancellations made between 7–14 days before departure will receive a 50% refund.
No refunds for cancellations made within 7 days of departure or for no-shows.
- Company Cancellation:
If we cancel a tour due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, government restrictions), you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.
3. Changes to Itinerary
The Company reserves the right to modify routes, schedules, or activities due to weather conditions, safety concerns, or operational needs.
Any additional costs arising from changes requested by the customer will be the customer’s responsibility.
4. Travel Documents & Responsibility
Customers are responsible for ensuring they have valid passports, visas, permits, and travel insurance where required.
Modern Tours & Travels is not liable for any losses or delays due to missing or invalid documents.
5. Health & Safety
Customers must disclose any medical conditions or special needs at the time of booking.
Participation is at your own risk. The Company is not responsible for injuries, illnesses, or accidents unless caused by our negligence.
6. Liability
We act as an intermediary between travelers and third-party suppliers (hotels, transport, activity providers).
We are not responsible for acts, errors, or negligence of third parties.
Our liability is limited to the value of the service booked.
7. Force Majeure
The Company is not liable for delays, cancellations, or losses caused by events beyond our control,
including natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics, strikes, or government actions.
8. Customer Conduct
Customers are expected to behave respectfully and follow local laws and customs.
We reserve the right to remove participants from a tour for disruptive or unsafe behavior without refund.
9. Insurance
We strongly recommend that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellations, medical expenses, accidents, and personal belongings.
10. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India, with jurisdiction in the courts of Gujarat.
11. Acceptance of Terms
By booking with Modern Tours & Travels, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
